So I've been taking japanese this semester, and I would have to say its got to be my most difficult class, at least, the most time consuming. It's totally memorization, which I suck at lol. Anyways, anyone else besides me know how to read it and understand it?

Wow! Awesome, how come you decided to take that?
I don't know any Japanese, but they offer it at my high school.

lol people always say they wished their highschool offered it. Mine didnt, just french, spanish, and german. And, I'm not really sure why I decided to take it. Just something different to learn I guess. For my major I need 4 semesters of a foreign language and I didnt want to take french again. Although I'm taking it next semester because Japanese I is sooo hard, I dont see myself taking 3 more semesters. So, this class is kind of for fun now I guess. At least I will know french and do better, since I went up to french 3 in highschool.

French is cool. And MUCHHH easier than Japanese. haha This year my US history teacher is actually a Japanese teacher, and the other day in class, this Japanese kid fell asleep, so the teacher woke him up and then started talking to him in Japanese randomly. It was really funny. And weird to hear the teacher (who is white) speak Japanese

Yeah, my parents said that Japanese was impossible to learn. It's one thing to learn how to speak another language, but when they use an entirely different alphabet...that's just beyond my capacity.
We have Latin, ASl, Spanish, French, German. Our German teacher is the only one in the whole county though, so we're pretty basic.

I was just noticing that, actually. You could stop posting for two years and you'd still be the top poster, haha.
