Me too! I was so bad though, I flunked one year. I also did soccer for a season, softball for a season, gymnastics when I was really little. I realized pretty quickly that I am not an athletic person.

I played soccer, football, baseball, and I was in karate and navy league sea cadets as well as a local theater/band hall, I was in plays and played drums when I wasn't.
-all of this was between little to 10, though I was in navy league till I was 12.

I always took swimming lessons. haha. I did that too! Except I was like 6 years old. And I had taken the classes at what was going to be my high school 8 years later lol (we had a pool).

I took swimming lessons when I was a child and I remember they had this under the sea mural on the wall of the pool and the shark always scared the crap outta me. Maybe that's why I hate the ocean now lol.

I think for me a lot of it probably has to do with not being able to swim, and bad events around trying to learn as a kid. But there's also something eery about creatures photographed underwater. Maybe it's fear of the unknown, I'm not sure.
