Sucks like awesome!!
Wikipedia: Grades in the United Kingdom
England, Wales and Northern Ireland
England, Wales and Northern Ireland use a unified system for grading secondary school qualifications.
General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE)
General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) is graded on scale of A*-A-B-C-D-E-F-G, with U as Unclassified (Failed).
My mistake, there is no A+ in between, but still, A Star signifies highest achievable grade.

So an F isn't failing?

Yeah, you can get even lower than an F, and not be failing! lmao.
So, A* isn't THAT special. It's just like an A+. Pssh. I have an A+ in bio.

No, not that special, just the top mark for a piece of work I did an hour before it was due Adn no, F is a crap mark, but still a pass, so would G be, although not all exams go down that far, depends on the tier you're sitting Higher/Foundation. However, employers rarely take anything below a C into account, at a push D, and you wouldn't want a G on your CV anyway

We don't use pluses at our school. We do for progress reports, but not for the official semester grades.

I know. My mom's high school didn't have that. 92 was the lowest for a A, and I think it was 85 for a B.
