The bf went off on it again today. I understand him calling it BS, chicks day, and pointing out the commercialism. It makes me feel bad, that I even like the day. I always have, whether I've had a bf or not. Can't be that he's cheap. It isn't like the man has anyone else to buy for, and he knows I would be happy with just a note, or a phone call from him. Something along the lines of: "<3 ya Babe." So as I'm givin' him his carefully chosen card, and watch him open the cd he's been drooling over. I maybe thinking something not so loving. And to those that like the day like me, significant other or not. Have a great Valentines Day!

I know that for me, if I'm involved with anyone, it's usually myself who goes way out on a limb for the girl only to get a "happy valentines day." in response. Kinda makes me feel shafted and hate the holiday. But seriously, not cool that he does that. Guilt him. I totally would.

I'm not really into it. I don't really care about all the gifts and crap. To quote J Lo "my love don't cost a thing" hahaha.
But this V-Day I'm stuck working, so i'll spend it shelving books, with my luck i'll end up in the romance section to make it even more depressing haha

Work on yours? XD

I've been getting to know this girl for a while. She's a competetive figure skater AND dancer. She can put her feet in front of or behind her HEAD...I dare not think what god is making up for so instead I intend to take full advantage of the situation...no pun intended). Anyway with some careful sleuthing I managed to deduce not only her adress but also her favourite flower, so I'm gonna drive down there tommorow and suprise her.
I like Valentine's in a way. I like to treat a girl nice like, and it's just another excuse to spoil her. On the other hand it's always a dissapointment 'cause girls never do anything nice for guys on Valentines so apart from a good lay it's a bit one sided.

I hated the holiday when I was with someone, and am looking forward to being alone on it. I hated trying to find gifts and then just being told that I don't know them very well.

I'm satisfied. Mother Nature is my Valentine <3 haha

We had a snow day also.
I'm kind of apathetic when it comes to Valentine's Day. I'm not bitter, I've always just found it a very impersonal holiday.

I don't dislike Valentine's Day, it's just not my type of holiday. I would gladly give up anything my boyfriend gave me for Valentine's Day for it not to exist. It makes me uncomfortable
... on another note, I can put my legs behind my head

Ah, but can you put one in front and one behind at the same time? And are you on this side of the atlantic? And are you single?

I'm not sure what one in front and the other in back means. I can put one leg behind my head and keep the other in front as well as put both at them same time (though I have to do that laying down and I almost break my neck). And though it's no to those other questions, that doesn't stop me from bragging about my many talents.
