Ahh! He did that movie! That was a good film, but it was pretty odd. Don't get me wrong, I've seen much weirder, but either way, I just found something a little bit... off about it. Still pretty good, though. It was intense.

Cronenberg's films are almost always a bit off. History of Violence was really straight forward for him. To me, it seemed rather sane for some of the stuff he usually does.

Cronenberg usually is intense. And while people say History of Violence was great, I felt let down by it. *shakes fist* Agreed

I also really love the visual impact of Sophia Coppola's films, but the rest of the elements of the film just don't meet my expectations.
