Haha that's all right. I'll probably just forget about it anyway, until I find out it's on DVD - then I'll be haaappyyyy.
Well if we're speaking of movies, I just saw Apocalypse Now for the first time today. just... wooooooow.

Intense, isn't it? Marlon Brando ad libbed his whole performance. Also, the bull slaughtering scene was real.

God, I know! I can't believe Brando did that, it was just beautiful... Especially the part about how it felt like a diamond bullet hit him right between the eyes, how could you ad-lib something so amazing? And the slaughtering... blech. Was it just the natives that were actually sacrificing it? Because if they did it just for the movie, well, wouldn't that be kind of illegal? :\
Now I just finished watching To Kill A Mockingbird. Makes me cry every time. And then I rented Reservoir Dogs... never seen it before, but my friends say it's pretty kickass.

Yeah, the natives (real natives) were slaughtering it and Coppola just asked if he could film it.
Reservoir Dogs is amazing. It's proof that Tarantino is an amazing filmmaker. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves.

Just saw it. That was pretty fucked up... but I liked it. a lot. Brutal, disgusting, dark, funny, awesome.
But I'll never be able to hear "Stuck In The Middle With You" the same way again. yeesh.

Nope. You won't. You'll never be able to look at Michael Madsen the same way either.

Anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves. I like Resevoir Dogs but only Pulp Fiction is as good. To be a truly great film maker you have to be able to do it time and time again, i liked Tarantinos other movies but they weren't nearly as good and weren't really the in the same league as the other greats. Plus i like a little innovation now and then and Tarantino is more of the cover band of movie makers, he's a recycler. A damn good recycler but a recycler nontheless.

Good point on his recycling and homages. However, his eye is immaculate. The guy perceives style in such a great way. I also gotta say that Kill Bill may be my favorite of his. Most people either forget (or don't know) that it's not supposed to be two parts but one movie. The action is at the beginning and it winds down to the end. I also love how each area that the Bride is in is filmed in a different style that represents it.

Mmm. Clive Owen. Psst... I like Tarantino. He's a freak, but I like him. Right now I'm watching Prozac Nation. Then I think I'll pop in Girl, Interrupted... it's definitely a day for women's-mental-hospital movies.

The band. Movie was good. But I dislike the Doors ALMOST as much as I dislike the Stones. I like you more with every post Stone the Stones!
