A bit conceited, those Gallagher brothers, but they make excellent music.

A bit conceited, those Gallagher brothers, but they make excellent music. Ah, they are lovely. At least they pretend to be assholes. Other people pretend to be nice and are, well, assholes. Yeah, I think I just love their music, no particular album.

I like Champagne Supernova In The Sky. That line...."Where were you while we were getting high"....always makes me laugh.

Go pick up Definitely Maybe, it's my favorite album of the 90's by a longshot.

Me crazy person has bought six in a week. Last October. And... in May 2005 I was still like "Meh, I still don't have an Oasis album, after 5 years of love. " I went to buy my best friend a CD for her birthday. I saw "Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants" and I wanted to buy it for her. But then I bought her a Hives CD and then... I just bought the two CDs and kept Oasis. A month later my friends bought me the new album "Don't Believe The Truth" because I went to England where I am now for one year. And when I went back home for a week last October, I bought... Oh no, it was only five: "What's The Story (Morning Glory?), Be Here Now, The Masterplan, Familiar To Millions Highlights and Heathen Chemistry. Yeah... I still need Familiar To Millions though. It has got twice as many songs as the Familiar To Millions Highlights. And I bought "Definitely, Maybe" two weekends before I returned to Germany in October. Geez I, am mad. I'll never do that again.

I only have What's the Story Morning Glory? Please don't dub me poser P.S. That was me that she said it to. ;] And Allison, was I the one that burned WTSMG for you? I think I was... But yeah, LOVE Oasis. My favorite album from them is, in fact, WTSMG. "Don't Look Back in Anger" and "Champagne Supernova" are so incredible... But I also love their other songs/albums. My other favorite songs are "Songbird" and "Let There Be Love" (from their new album! It's very good).

"Don't Look Back In Anger" is great. But I could've sworn they used the piano line from "Imagine" at the beginning....

Well they did LOVE the Beatles. They also loved T. Rex as you can tell when listening to Cigarettes and Alcohol. One of the coolest things about when I saw them was that they played My Generation as their last encore, so ya can tell they like The Who as well.

They don't hide their influences thats for sure, i don't know how many times they've mentioned Beatles songs in their own songs.
