The Wall. What a great movie. Art. Wow. Who's seen the movie? What do you think of it? What's your favorite part?

Roger Waters, the main creative force behind the concept for the wall didnt like the movie at all, he thought it made pink seem more arogant then he wanted or something like that.

I think the animated sequences by Gerald Scarffe are the best parts. I think the best sequence is how they filmed all the songs from side two; Good-bye Blue Sky through Goodbye Crule World.
I like the Don't Leave Me Now sequence the most, when the hotel room suddenly becomes huge and the shadow of Pink's wife turns into a huge monster. Good illustration of Pink being paranoid and having a bad trip.

A ex-friend and I had gone to see the Wall at one of those midnight showings years ago....that was my first time to see it....this was before I got into Pink Floyd...I had no idea what that movie was about...and I think we were the only two sober people in the theater! I think it is a great movie.....

The Wall is astounding. The best scene by far is The Trial. I think they could've taken out the song Dirty Woman and used Hey You instead, because that scene wasn't an advance on the plot. I love how everyone has their own opinion on what The Wall really is. I think it was all his insecurities and problems building up because he didn't want to deal with them, then when in The Trial the wall is torn down, he's forced to face them.
It's also quite trippy.

I think you have to read the information on the inside cover about the plot before you watch it, othewise you won't know what's going on. I feel that each time you watch it, you get a different view of what it's about. My favourite part of it is either Comfortably Numb or the Trial
