They're exellent, yeah. Also because they were only around for a short time, it's very easy to collect their whole discography fast and cheap. Quality over quantity.

I vote for a Doors section! There is a lot that isn't commonly known and Jim's poetry is superb - even more so when he read it himself.

even more than floyd, the doors music seems like a dreamscape. i guess a band is really good when you never hear about any famous cover bands

If people who into the Doors haven't gotten it yet, I highly recommend their new archive release, Pittsburgh 1970, it's excellent.

I was listening to them last night, while cooking dinner. They were an awesome band. My favorite album of theirs is Morrison Hotel.

i like the original the best, some of the band's best material are the lesser known song's like whiskey bar and soul kitchen imo.

Yeah, I had their greatest hits, when I was a teenager, but I appreciated them, even more, once I bought their original albums. There's alot of great songs on those albums.
