I'm learnin acustic. was gonna play electric, but, i heard Nothing Else matters by metallica when we were looking at the guitars at the guitar place, and thought the acustic was so pretty. had to get one.

I just started to learn acoustic myself, well to be technical, its a classical, Goya to be exact but that ain't the point. My teacher says that I'm really good and will be able to play a full length song soon. I'm so excited!....

i play whatever guitar you hand me. own an electric. play accoustic stuff on it....just play it clean and it sounds close...play bass if you hand it to me. I'm just a firm believer in taking the basics of one type of instrument and applying it else where. I love all guitar sound whether it be electric or accoustic or dif types of each i.e. mandolins, ukeleles, spanish accoustics, classical or dif brands of electric. I've been playing for about 9 monthes after a friend kept nagging me to stop looking at guitars in shop windows and buy one. He said i have the natural hands for it, strong and long thin fingers. Have since learned a good deal of chords and then i just put my fingers on strings in dif places until i get a sound i like then later look up what chord it actually is. but yeah... i play guitar, my guitar your guitar any guitar just give me a few minutes and i'll have something for you

I really would love to play the guitar, but I get weirded out and tell myself I can't do it.

I really would love to play the guitar, but I get weirded out and tell myself I can't do it. I actually gave up guitar the first time I tried it. But I didn't give myself a chance. Shortly after giving up, I tried again. Eventually I made some progres, and I've kept it going sense. You really can do anything you want, you just have to really want to do it.
