Those are definitely not very long songs. If you want a long song, listen to Echoes by Pink Floyd. Really? Dazed and Confused on TSRTS is almost 27 minutes long. I have a bootleg with a 40 minute Moby di** on it.

I seem to remember hearing "Good Times, Bad Times" when I was younger, I mean I can remember most of them but this was the first I believe.

Wow alot of great memories here!! I know I can't recall the first time I ever heard LZ, but I absolutely remember the moment that I heard a song that forever made me a fan. I couldn't believe the awesome sound of "The Wanton Song".

The first song that I heard of theirs that I knew was theirs (I had probably unknowingly heard some of their stuff before) was Immigrant Song.

Oh, that was on a Tuesday. A boy from the boarding house gave the teacher who watched us doing our prep his Led Zeppelin CD to play it. We were supposed to do our homework, but the teacher decided to talk about music. I was quite annoyed at first because he was so showing off with his knowledge. "Listen to the lyrics". I mentally rolled my eyes because I have great difficulties with that like... understanding lyrics that are not as simple as most children's songs. Yeah, well... Anyway... Half an hour before we had to go back to the boarding house, he played the CD. The first song was "Immigrant Song". To be honest, I was so shocked. Not because of the music. I think I have a serious problem with Robert's vocals. Anyway... I asked the boy who owned the CD to give it to me. he gave it to me, I copied it onto the computer and sometimes I listen to songs. Sometimes almost all of them except for "Stairway To Heaven" because I don't like that song. What got me into borrowing the CD was a girl in another forum (Cobwebs and Strange *coughs*) and she just... posted... pictures... of Jimmy Page. Yeah, well, I was really annoyed. For whatever reason, I just didin't like Led Zep without even knowing them. This girl got me into Jimmy, man. She is horrible. I've registered here before... A year ago or so... But I didn't go on here. I just registered and maybe I posted a few times... But now I'm back. For a reason. Now I kind of like the band. I don't care about how good they can play because I just have to get a feeling for the music. Well... I still can only appreciate Robert's vocals on the two acoustic songs on the "BBC Sessions CD 2", "Going To California" and "That's The Way". But I dig the music, really.

"Kashmir". Great introduction to a great band. Still my favorite song. It is just so powerful. I heard it and loved the exotic flavour of the song. The domino effect ensued and I got almost every Zeppelin album ever.

The TUNE to Whole Lotta Love from the old TOTP theme. Although at the time I ddin't know who it was. I heard Kashmir quite early on but only recently realised it was Zep. First song I heard that I KNEW was Zep is Stairway to Heaven
