I'm pretty sure mine was D'yer Mak'er. It's just one of those songs it seems I have known all my life.

Easy for me to answer this one - it was "Good Times, Bad Times", because that is the first song on the first side of the first album, and I first heard it about 3 weeks after it was first released in Jan. 1969.
Cheers, Zepman

I remember when I was in fourth grade, me and my sister asked our mom what she thought the longest song in the world was. She said Dazed and Confused by Led Zeppelin is pretty long and she got out The Song Remains the Same for us to listen too. I think we got to the bow section and turned it off because we didn't know what to think.

The "Thick As A Brick" album by Jethro Tull, although made up of several parts, is one complete song that is the length of both sides of the album, about 45 minutes. Cheers, Zepman I love that...song (I guess you'd call it that ) haha.

They had a colour video of Whole Lotta Love on New Zealand tv back in the mid-80s on a late afternoon tv music show called Shazam! The vid of course features topless dancers and major nipplage...and I was just a little kid....as you could imagine, this had a profound effect on the way I would perceive rock music in future! That was my first ever exposure to Led Zep, though I have a childhood memory (somewhat repressed) of hearing Immigrant Song on the radio at a very early age and thinking the banshee wail was the voice of the devil himself!
