the first led zeppelin song i ever heard was 'over the hills and far away'.
Lola ('FazedCookie') played it for me in my apartment and was like 'i will seriously fall in love with anyone who can play that on guitar'. heh, so of COURSE i was going to learn it for her (have any of you seen her pictures?!). And yeah, so i played it for her the next day and we fell in love...for a little. i still love her, but she doesn't really like me. i was stupid and hurt her. i dont deserve her love.
what am i rambling on about?
anyway...i love led zeppelin now, thanks to lola.

It was either Stairway to Heaven, Black Dog or Rock & Roll. I'm not sure, I heard them when I was really little thanks to my mother being a Zeppelin fan so I can't remember exactly.

Well, I'm only 15 so I didn't get to listen to Zeppelin when they first came out and for that matter, I didn't get to listen to ANY of their songs as they were released. But they are one of my fondest memories...this is one of the few things I remember about my childhood before about age 7. I was three years old (I know I MUST'VE heard a Zeppelin song before then but I don't remember that far). Anyway, I was three and in the backseat of the car getting really bored then finally I hear the first notes of the first Zeppelin song I can recall hearing...
"Hey, hey momma, said the way you move, gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove..."
As I got older I just appreciated them more and more, and even though the kids teased me about it all through elementary I didn't give up the band I loved so much...and still do. ^___^

I couldn't really tell which one was the first... The first song I really fell in love with was Stairway. As impossible as it sounds, I had not heard it before - at least I didn't remember, which is pretty much the same cos how could you not remember a song like that if you've heard it? But when I first listened to The Song Remains The Same and Kashmir, I knew I'd already heard them before (not knowing they were Zep tunes), so I guess I'd say those two.
