I'm glad he won. Especially, after the way the judges were pimping Archuletta, the night before, and trying to sway votes his way.
The best part of the finale, was when Cook jammed with ZZ Top.
Carrie Underwood was hot, as usual. Jordin Sparks looked huge.

I think I had that song memorized, by the time I was 8, or 9. Then, there were people, who actually said his version of "The Long And Winding Road", was better than the original. WTF ever! Nobody can sing that song, better than Paul McCartney.

Jordin Sparks looked huge. lmao I was thinking the same when she performed. Her dress was very unflattering. And I was also thinking when David Cook performed with ZZ Top how nervous you would have to be to play the band's song with them. Having to worry about screwing up. The weirdest part for me was when George Michael performed. He was waving his arms around like a diva.

David really pulled it off. Not only with his singing, but also with his guitar playing. It seemed like George Michael sang forever. ZZZZZZZZ I like some of his songs, but that wasn't one of them. LOL I also enjoyed the Michael Johns/Carly Smithson duet of the Joe Cocker version of 'The Letter'. They sounded great together.

Yeah I thought that was pretty cool. I heard David Cook's single on the radio already on Saturday and just heard it again today. I'm impressed how fast that got out lol.
