Alex Lifeson excellent on the guitar, Geddy Lee excellent on the bass and Neil Peart excellent on the drums (John Rutsey before him was pretty good himself).

I love Rush. Im listening to their first album right now. They are one of my favourite classic rock bands. The trio all has talent. Working Man is a great song. And that is their worst album.

Was that by accident?? Because if not, would you please turn down your attitude? If someone insulted my favorite band, i wouldnt go all berzerk.

Nah. Rush is an incredible band from Fly By Night.
Their first album is weak beyond words.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0rQpk38A7s&search=Rush%20Distant%20EarlyRush - Distant Early Warning music video I've never really been able to get into Rush that much. I have trouble telling alot of their songs apart, I can't get into Geddy Lee's voice and I don't see what others do in Neil Pert. Living in Canada you can't escape them but apart from one or two songs they just don't do it for me. I'm way more into one of their prime influences, Yes. Yes like Rush are top class musicians but I find their sound changed over time, although some of that comes from their constant lineup changes. I also prefer Yes because of their vocal harmonies and I find their music has more substance. I also find it's loser and more psychadellic. Rush music always sounds too tightly wound and strained to me.
