Hahah, no, that was a story of how the poem came to be, I still can't find the poem itself.

Well that's just 'cause I'm weird, I speak in stanzas.

Do you rhyme?

No, but I always type things broken up and in separate sentences for no apparent reason, as you all know.
I speak a bit like it too.

Song I am most proud of being able to play?
This would most definitely be "As I Am" by Dream Theater. That may be tainted by the satisfaction I have now having just recently learned it. Before that, it was Cemetery Gates by Pantera.
There's a few things I've done that I am very proud of too, but I can't really get the point of them acrossed to you because they are on cassette tapes and currently have no vocals.

I'm learning this Rachmaninoff piece on the piano that's pretty awesome... I haven't learned it all yet, but I definitely will.

The piece (that's not mine) that I'm most proud of is Surfing With the Alien by Joe Satriani. I'm currently working on Satch Boogie, but that's just scary as hell in some parts.

I learned to play Spanish Caravan today and that has been a goal on the checklist for a long time so i'd say i'm feeling rather proud of myself.

While not that proud, I learned Panama by Van Halen recently. That's fun to play.

You definitely have to be brave to take on anything from that entire album. Definitely Satch at his best. I'm actually working on Mindstorm currently. That solo is just mind blowing. The first time I heard it, I swore I felt my face starting to slide off as it melted.

I feel that way about several pieces. But you know, Surfing really isn't that hard, just has a few tricky spots. Namely, the beginning of the second verse section. That's painful, to say the least. But yeah, I know what you mean about the face melting stuff. I was working on some Dragonforce at one point and just gave up when I got to the solo, thinking, "Pfffft...and I'm gonna need this when? The pain doesn't match the reward."

Thats been my attitude in playing which has seperated me from most of the people i know who concentrate on learning other people's really fast solos rather write their own music.

Exactly. I'll learn other people's stuff to get ideas from it and once in a while to increase my chops a little, but I fail to see the point in solely covering other people's works. I guess that's the difference between being a musician and a bedroom rock star.

John Mayer said something on the crossroads guitar festival DVD that really got to me:
There's one common thread between all these musicians. They all have the same passion and dedication. These are not your weekend guitar players.
